Seven Pillars

The XO ecosystem is guided by seven foundational pillars. Together they define the trust continuum and explain how different parts of the system work together.

1. Bridge

Role: connects Web2, Web3, and real-world assets into one flow.

Core value: connectivity and interoperability.

Use case: a physical object or citizen-facing asset can link to its digital verification layer.

2. Ledger

Role: preserves an immutable record of actions, ownership, value flows, and continuity.

Core value: transparency and accountability.

Use case: public records for sealed events, ownership history, or verified actions.

3. Vault

Role: stores, seals, and signs assets, credentials, and trust-critical data.

Core value: security and sovereignty.

Use case: storing important keys, signing content, or anchoring a trust event.

4. Pulse

Role: publishes the heartbeat of the ecosystem through stories, updates, signals, and visible movement.

Core value: awareness and responsiveness.

Use case: publishing a new artifact, a system event, or a public milestone.

5. Seals

Role: marks authenticity across products, artifacts, and narratives.

Core value: verification and trust.

Use case: a digital or physical item carries a recognizable proof of authenticity.

6. Exchange

Role: coordinates value, knowledge, and interaction across the ecosystem.

Core value: collaboration and transfer.

Use case: communities, contributors, or systems exchange verified value or access.

7. Traits

Role: gives identity, artifacts, and experiences adaptive properties.

Core value: identity and playful utility.

Use case: an artifact or avatar gains additional properties through interaction.

Utilities around the pillars

In addition to the seven pillars, XO also depends on supporting utilities that help activate the system:

  • Drops as the delivery and activation layer
  • Digest as the reporting and summary layer
  • Agent as the workflow and coordination layer

Together, the pillars and utilities form a modular system that can scale from storytelling and collectibles to broader trust infrastructure.
